OUR CONSCIOUS NATION

CREATING OUR FUTURE CONSCIOUSLY

Recycled, sustainable, low-impact, conscious and compostable.

At P.E Nation, we are continuing our journey to produce eco-friendly conscious activewear and fashion, valuing sustainability and protection of the planet.

The fashion landscape is changing and sustainability, now, more than ever is a responsibility we all share. We welcome this important change to our business and invite you to join us in creating Our Conscious Nation, which seeks to raise awareness and offer transparency around our commitment to holistically implementing meaningful and sustainable business practices, in order to reduce our impact on the environment, across every aspect of production, right through to packaging and delivery.

Our 100% organic cotton tanks and tees launched in July and are closely followed in August by our first sustainable capsule called STRIKE SET featuring Vita Power by Carvico, a type of fabric pioneered in Italy made of ECONYL® regenerated Nylon, which boasts a 4-step closed loop regeneration process. An additional seven sustainable pieces will be released in October including our LEAD RIGHT and FLEX IT sets, which are part of Our Conscious Nation, incorporating sustainable and recycled fabrics. By Q1 2020, close to half our range will be constructed in line with Our Conscious Nation ethos, proudly executing an already significant improvement on our environmental impact, with more to come.

We are continuously building on our sustainability practices, in-line with further advancements in the field of innovative fabric development.

In addition to fabric-based improvements, we have transitioned our packaging to be fully recyclable. We have partnered with The Better Packaging Co and introduced compostable envelopes and satchels and the P.E Nation drawstring bags are now made from rPET (material made using recycled PET plastic). We next introduce our new recyclable cardboard boxes and a compostable black roll-down bag to further reduce our environmental impact. Our labels and swing tags have been re-designed, incorporating recycled cardboards and post-consumer waste plastics (rPET) will be introduced for all swing tags, while all woven and care labels will be comprised of 100% recycled polyester yarns. Heat press printing will be introduced by Q1 2020 to further reduce environmental impact, and P.E Nation’s iconic patches will also be made from recycled materials, appearing on the sleeves of bold jackets and sweats throughout the range.

And this is just the beginning.
